There’s nothing like tailgating at a football game that brings people closer to each other… and even their cars! Fall is the perfect time to shop for one of the great used cars Las Vegas has to offer. Once you find your ride, maybe you’ll decide to venture out to one of these tailgating hotspots in the northern part of America’s heartland.
Minneapolis, Minnesota
If you’re looking for a bustling city to catch your game, look no further. Minneapolis/St. Paul is a great place to visit any time of year, but especially in the fall when you can see the amazing colors line the Mississippi river. Here you can choose to catch a Vikings game and catch fans making Jucy Lucies (hamburgers with melty cheese in the center. A local favorite) while wearing Viking helmets with long blond braids. Or, if college ball is more your thing, stop by and see the Minnesota Gophers play one of their Big 10 league games. Either way, be sure to check out some of the local breweries around to pick up your brewskies before the party. With nearly 30 microbreweries to choose from, you’re guaranteed to find something that’ll make you glad you left the Buds at home.
Lincoln, Nebraska
Lincoln is home to the famous Nebraska Cornhuskers, but possibly more notably the Nebraska Cornhusker fans. People flock from far and wide across the prairie region to cheer on Big Red. This fandom makes any tailgating party in Lincoln worth going to. If you’re looking for a classic tailgating experience, this is it. It’s all about showing that Husker pride- wearing it, yelling it, decking out your car in it, whatever! It’s hard not to find yourself chanting GO BIG RED!
Fargo, North Dakota
The NDSU Bison are another exciting college team to venture to. Plus, there’s no better time than a Bison game to grill up Bison burger! Any specialty meat shop in Fargo would be happy to tell you about this great tasting lean meat.
Vermillion, South Dakota
If you’re looking for more of a small town vibe, look no further than Vermillion. Home of the USD Coyotes, you can choose to party with the students or tailgate over at Coyote Tailgate Nation, where you’ll catch most of the town hanging out, sharing food, and swapping stories.
With so many teams and a true spirit of comradery, it’s no wonder that the North Central states are a tailgating haven. And no matter your destination, you know that the used cars Las Vegas provide can get you there.
